The 2025 ABC Heywire competition is now open. 

All young Australians living in regional, rural and remote communities are encouraged to share and celebrate the unique stories of regional Australia. 

The Department is a valued partner of the ABC Heywire program which has been amplifying these stories of regional youth for more than 26 years. 

All entries are welcome through the Heywire website by Sunday 1 September 2024.
