Geography

Is geographic representation important to achieve the RDA committee's priorities?

  • Yes.

Which geographic areas require greater representation from future members?

  • Geographic representation is not crucial. Skills should be the primary determinant, however if presented with members of the ┬ásame skill set or level, geographic representation can then be used, prioritising the person from the smaller LGA. It is preferable that at least two of the members are from smaller LGA's with a spread from east to west of the region. Three of the members whose term expires on the 30 June 2014 are from smaller LGA's (ie Hay, Coolamon & Leeton)
