Priority 1: Support innovative business practices and market opportunities

What skills/experience will be needed from future committee members to achieve this priority?

  • Professional experience in industry with focus on entrepreneurship, innovation.
  • Leadership in new business development, research and development, innovation, lean / six sigma /change management.
  • Export sales and marketing, experience establishing new markets.

Priority 2: Support investment attraction and leadership in infrastructure prioritisation

What skills/experience will be needed from future committee members to achieve this priority?

  • Experience with institutional,venture capital investors, banking, alternative funding platforms and with overseas investors e.g. Asia.
  • Superior commercial acumen to develop business cases (exec level) and determine, articulate economic benefits of projects.

Priority 3: Promote skill development and diversity and support business retention strategies

What skills/experience will be needed from future committee members to achieve this priority?

  • Professional experience with people development (senior executive, or HR/organisation development etc).
  • Experience as a business coach or mentor.
  • Proven ability to develop effective networks across the region and be well connected with businesses.
