Priority 1: Economic Development—A Resilient and Diverse Economy

What skills/experience will be needed from future committee members to achieve this priority?

  • Business experience.
  • current active business sector networks.
  • understanding of B2G relations, the ACT and region economic strengths, weaknesses and opportunities.
  • ACT Govt economic development policy.

Priority 2: Strengthened Educational Opportunities

What skills/experience will be needed from future committee members to achieve this priority?

  • Understanding of the post-school opportunities in the ACT and region, importance of education to industry linkages, barriers to greater levels of participation.
  • Current/active networks in the tertiary education sector.

Priority 3: A Connected Region

What skills/experience will be needed from future committee members to achieve this priority?

  • An understanding of ICT technologies, capabilities and potential; an understanding of the potential of a 'regional digital economy' strategy.
  • an understanding of the ACT Government and regional transport policies.
