Apply now for Visions of Australia funding

26 September 2017

For the information of RDA Committees and their stakeholders

The Department of Communication and the Arts has advised that applications are now open for the latest funding round of the Visions of Australia regional exhibitions touring program.

The program aims to inspire, educate and entertain audiences and allow them to experience significant cultural collections and stories from across Australia.

The program gives Australians the opportunity to access collection material that might not otherwise travel to regional and remote areas.

The program provides funding of $2.4 million to arts and cultural heritage organisations each financial year. Funding contributes to costs associated with the development and touring of exhibitions based on material of historic, scientific, design, social or artistic significance.

Applications close on Friday 6 October 2017 at 5.00pm AEST.

The next funding round will be open in early 2018.

For more information on the program, including the guidelines and application form and the list of March 2017 funding round recipients, please visit the Visions of Australia website.
