RDA Pilbara launches the Mid and North Western Australia Investment Portfolio
23 September 2016
Regional Development Australia (RDA) Pilbara (WA) in partnership with Chamber of Commerce and Industry Western Australia (CCIWA) and the Australian China Business Council (ACBC) had an extremely successful launch of the Mid and North Western Australia Investment Portfolio in Perth in July 2016.
This portfolio was developed in collaboration with RDA Kimberly and RDA Mid West Gascoyne and showcases over 70 investment opportunities across the four regions.
The Hon Warren Truss, former Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, opened the event and praised the work that has gone into the development of this project and its alignment to the government's goals and objectives of attracting investment into Australia.
“The event was attended by over 140 people including proponents, investors and those that are in a position to promote the document internationally,” said RDA Pilbara Chairperson, Ms Fiona White-Hartig.
“This will not be a document that sits on the shelf gathering dust, but rather a living document that can be reviewed annually to evaluate what investments have occurred as a result of this piece of work. More importantly, as the economic times change, we can add more projects or remove those no longer relevant or have been completed,” Ms White-Hartig said.
To access a copy of the portfolio please go to the RDA Pilbara website, or contact RDA Pilbara CEO, Diane Pentz on 9144 0651 for more information.
