RDA Sunshine Coast (Queensland) is inviting community members from across Australia to join its Digital Futures Forum on 26 July 2012 via live webcast.
The Digital Futures Forum, presented by former Tasmanian Premier the Hon David Bartlett, will discuss ways the community can leverage from the National Broadband Network (NBN) and help businesses to be at the forefront of the digital future.
The forum will be held on the Sunshine Coast and will be live-streamed for those outside the region who would like to get involved.
Participants can use social networks including live tweets, and facebook posts and comments to ask questions during the webcast.
The workshop will define and develop a Sunshine Coast Digital Futures Strategy to maximise regional benefits of the NBN. It will also include a technology review, the changing technology environment and how organisations can interact with governments and service providers.
The workshop will be live-streamed on Thursday 26 July from 10-4pm AEST.
