RDA Yorke and Mid North Regional Planning and Priority Review Day
Published: 23rd August 2012
RDA Yorke and Mid North (South Australia) has published a series of presentations and notes from its regional planning day held earlier this year on its website.
The Yorke and Mid North Regional Planning and Priority Review Day brought together RDA Yorke and Mid North, the Central Local Government Region of South Australia, and the Northern and Yorke Natural Resources Management Board to discuss progress on implementing identified priorities, barriers to progress and identify next steps and responsibilities for action over the coming year.
RDA Yorke and Mid North Chair Kay Matthias said the forum was an opportunity for greater collaboration between regional partners and State Government agencies.
“The concept of holding the review forum on an annual basis means that over time we should really start to see what progress has been made from year to year, where the barriers are and what new opportunities might be emerging,” says Ms Matthias.
“It is a great opportunity for our three regional partners to work more closely on key issues of importance and also for us to work more collaboratively and more efficiently with Government,” she said.
“We are hoping to generate some really positive outcomes.”
