RDA Whyalla and Eyre Peninsula and Force 10 collaboration to drive job prospects and training

RDA Whyalla and Eyre Peninsula (South Australia) is working closely with a new international building company, Force 10, to create increased job opportunities in Whyalla.

The collaboration was featured in the Whyalla News on 21 August 2012 and will see training programs created in order to upskill local job seekers and place them in potential employment with the company. Plans for the training course and hiring are in preliminary stages.

The company specialises in a type of building material that is designed to withstand strong weather conditions such as earth tremors and hurricane winds. The company anticipates there will be need for about 400 staff members.

Discussions between RDA Whyalla and Eyre Peninsula and Force 10 will continue in the coming weeks to help establish the best way to drive job prospects and training forward.
