RDA Hume welcomes new committee members

RDA Hume (Victoria) recently welcomed two new members, Janelle Boynton and Elizabeth Mellor, to its existing eight member committe

Janelle is co-owner of Boynton’s Feathertop Winery in Porepunkah and was recently a finalist in the 2012 Victorian Rural Woman of the Year Awards. Janelle is a Director on the Tourism Victoria Board, as well as the current Chair of the Victorian Food and Wine Tourism Council. Janelle is also an architect by training who has project managed key state and local government projects.

Elizabeth trained initially as a social worker and vocational rehabilitation counsellor, and has worked for many years in the health and welfare area. She currently runs The Awakening Network Inc. with her husband, an international training organisation involved in mentoring and training. Elizabeth is the current Deputy Chair of Seymour Health.

The RDA Hume committee covers twelve local government areas including Alpine, Benalla, Indigo, Mansfield, Mitchell, Moira, Murrindindi, Shepparton, Strathbogie, Towong, Wangaratta and Wodonga.
