RDA Barossa to host workshop to revitalise Wasleys
Published: 20th July 2012
RDA Barossa (South Australia) will host a skills and development workshop on 27-28 July 2012 to discuss the economic future of Wasleys.
The Regional and Remote Area Economic Development Training Program is aimed at highlighting the strengths of regional communities and giving members the skills and know-how to thrive into the future.
The program at Wasleys will help to identify key economic assets the town holds and how to make the most of them to benefit the town.
The workshop has been organised in partnership with Economic Development Australia (EDA).
RDA Barossa Executive Officer Anne Moroney, who is also on the EDA committee, will present at the workshop.
“The program has been a success for other communities that have taken up this opportunity,” Ms Moroney said.
“It has provided value to those communities, and I trust it will do the same for Wasleys.”
