Early Childhood Education and Care Industry Roundtable

RDA Kimberley (Western Australia) will be hosting an Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) Industry Roundtable on Tuesday 2 October 2012 from 9.00—12.00 in Broome. The roundtable is being convened by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR).

The ECEC Industry Roundtable aims to bring together representatives from early childhood services, industry, employment and training service providers, and government representatives to explore opportunities to support ECEC workforce development in the Kimberley region.

The Roundtable will help build relationships and mutual understandings of the current ECEC workforce opportunities and challenges in the region and provide up to date information on Australian and State government assistance for ECEC employers.

The Roundtable will provide valuable information to identify innovative ideas to tackle ECEC workforce challenges and to potentially access wider DEEWR funding programs.
